Responsibilities
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developmental assessments
• Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and learning programs
• Provide direct supervision and ongoing support to RBTs and ABA staff
• Collect, analyze, and review behavior and skill-acquisition data
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, directors, and therapists to ensure cohesive care
• Model and teach evidence-based ABA strategies to classroom staff
• Monitor progress, update treatment goals, and ensure clinical quality
• Support sensory-friendly and autism-centered teaching approaches
• Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements and ethical standards
• Assist with staff training on behavior management, crisis prevention, and reinforcement strategies
• Participate in team meetings, family conferences, and center improvement planning

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
• Active BCBA certification in good standing
• Experience working with young children (ages 2–5 preferred)
• Strong knowledge of autism, early childhood development, and sensory needs
• Ability to write clear treatment plans, BIPs, and progress reports
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Background check and state childcare clearance required

Responsibilities
• Implement individualized treatment programs designed by the BCBA
• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy, small-group instruction, and classroom support
• Assist with daily routines: transitions, meal time, nap time, toileting, and play
• Collect accurate data on behavior and skill-acquisition goals
• Support sensory play, social activities, structured schedules, and behavior plans
• Use positive reinforcement, modeling, and visual supports
• Communicate progress, concerns, and safety issues to the BCBA and Director
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
• Assist children with communication devices (PECS, visual boards, AAC)
• Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Active RBT certification (or willingness to complete training within 90 days)
• Experience working with children with autism or special needs preferred
• Strong communication skills and patience
• Ability to follow treatment plans and accept supervision from a BCBA
• Must pass background check, fingerprinting, and childcare clearance
• CPR/First Aid certification required (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to lift 25–30 lbs, sit on floor, and move with active children

Qualifications
• 19+ years old

• High School Diploma or GED

• CDA or degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, Psychology, Special Education, or related field

• 1+ year childcare or autism experience

• CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
